King is a Upholder of religions.In the kingdom, every person enjoys
full liberty to profess a religion and the State uphold Buddhism,
Islamism, Christianity, Hinduism and Sikhism.

has faith in Theravada sect of Buddhism. As they come of age
at 20 y.old, Thai men enter priesthoood as rite de passage.The
right to priethoood for 3 months is secured by Labor Protection
Law.Mahayana Buddhism with cults of Bhoddhisatva and Mytreya
is popular among Chinese immigrants. |
